I have walked the same path myself through pregnancy, birth and postpartum and this firsthand experience touches every facet of how I support the families in my care. From personalized childbirth education in pregnancy, continuous support in birth to meal prepping, teaching you to baby wear or caring for your baby overnight so you can get some much needed sleep, we can customize a support plan that will fit your family’s unique needs during this time of transition.

MEET MICHAELA
I worked as a nanny for years before pivoting to the role of a doula. I have 8+ years of experience as a birth and postpartum doula in the Pittsburgh area. I trained through DONA International and am committed to taking a continuing education course every year so I can bring the newest evidence based research to those in my care. I am also currently working on my nursing degree so I can bring a different angle of expertise and knowledge to the families I serve. People often talk about the “nesting period” at the end of pregnancy where you finish all those little random projects around the house to prepare for your baby. My goal is to extend that idea of a cozy, supported nest into your postpartum period so that you are nurtured and empowered in your parenthood as you learn to care for your baby.
